DeerCoded is a coding bootcamp based in Calgary Alberta. It was founded by James Deer in 2012 to address the shortage in qualified software developers in western Canada. Currently, our camp is not affiliated with any academic institutions. We recognize that learning to code can be challenging and that teaching market-appropriate skills is often not a major component of most undergraduate computer science curriculums. Our courses are designed to help the students increase their skills in identifying proper coding patterns, approach to app development, and recognizing good design.

Our goal is to help prepare our students for the current market with a strong understanding of modern frameworks. Learners of all skill levels will be challenged with our variety of courses for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners.
